Snapshot: Bang & Olufsen celebrate 90 years of craftsmanship and artistry with a new line of audio-visual electronics that brings us back to their beginnings in 1925.
Taking six of their most iconic, current designs and reimagining them in the style of the era of the company's origins, Bang & Olufsen bring us the Love Affair collection to show us their passion for beauty in everyday objects. The new design could be described as sleek, luxurious and even romantic. Adding a touch of art deco to each piece in the collection, they bridge the gap between the styles of then and now to create a story that shows the evolution of the brand through time. Every product in the Love Affair collection is embellished with rose gold and walnut for a sense of the mysterious and romantic effect that such a palette offers.
The Danish company’s products are known for having a unique style that sets them apart from other electronics. For instance, their BeoLab 18 is a wireless speaker that uses a 180 degree arc for optimal sound quality while also flourishing its advanced system in a modern, cutting edge design. The arc crown is made from walnut lamella which both serves as a medium for sound while also mixing with the rose gold frame for a harmonious appearance. It’s the interweaving of design and technology to create a symbiotic relationship between the two that makes B&O design an authentic, different approach to electronics.
The six products that make up the Love Affair Collection are the BeoLab 18 speakers, BeoPlay A9 sound system, BeoVision 11-46” all-in-one entertainment system, BeoVision 85 television, BeoPlay H6 headphones and the BeoRemote One. Each piece represents the care and craftsmanship that goes into B&O products since their beginnings, bridging beautiful design and technological advancement together.
