AKZ Architectura Goes by the Grid at ORANG+UTAN Vegeterian Bar

What is it about a black and white grid that manages to be timelessly captivating? For those of you who love linear order, the interior design of Orang+Utan Vegetarian Bar might be your jam!?

Kiev-based Artem Vakhrin and Katya Zuieva, founders of architectural studio AKZ Architectura, called upon the classic grid to build out the Artema Street sandwich shop. The design concept was to create a place that should show costumers an idea of Orang+Utan bar: the city is a new "jungle" and people who live there are new "smart animals" and they need a place to fill energy. White tile and dark "net" with green zone create a feeling that you are in natural habitat.

As the eye naturally gravitates toward the grid, neon-light letters are secured to the walls, evoking further interest into the dynamic space. Not your average sandwich shop, but a beautiful one indeed.
