If your New Year resolution to hit the gym five days a week is slowly becoming three days a week, then maybe you’re in need of some gym-spiration. Kiev-based interior design firm Soesthetic Group turned Club EBSH into a world-class knock-out with an energetic and sporty new look.
The gym’s mantra: Strength, healthy mind and merciless exercise! The design team integrated this brand philosophy into the interiors with their relentless use of high-energy colors, such as highlighter yellow and black. In workout areas where heavy lifting was involved, the designers created more dynamic spaces with open layouts and sharp lighting. Intimate and softly lit areas were created for stretching or relaxation points.
The concept of movement and interacting with your environment is projected into the interior design by crafting unique architectural elements that double as workout assets, such as the neon yellow ceiling trusses that are an interesting design element and have rope exercise capabilities. Concrete blocks, brick and metal mesh accents add a raw texture to the space and acts as a cool contrast to the wall murals in the café.
In a world full of uninspiring gyms, Soesthetic Group created a thoughtful and invigorating place that motivates people to get up and move. Game on.
