A Catwalk in Bloom

Nearing winter, a frosty chill has settled into the air in The City of Light. However, the cold weather wasn't about to stop Dior from showcasing their Spring/Summer 2014 collection under the canopy of a blossoming floral wonderland. A series of structural metal supports joined together to create a temporary greenhouse-like complex that has been erected in the center of Paris' historical garden of Musée Rodin.

Dior's creative director Raf Simons sent the models down the blooming catwalk in paralleling techno floral prints and flower petal inspired garments. Woven then draped into the metal supports were plants of wisteria, roses, and lianas; abundantly arranged to create a dreamy tropical utopia.
